Frida Owinga is the founder of PassionProfit Ltd., an organization founded in 2010 that provides business growth mentoring, networking and access to capital so that business owners can create a meaningful life and work for themselves and others Today PassionProfit has interacted with over 30,000 small and growing business owners, directly and indirectly through partnerships with financial institutions like Barclays Bank, Kenya Commercial, Co-Operative Bank, Chase Bank, Gulf Africa Bank as well as faith based organizations in Kenya and the US.


She provides business breakthrough insights and strategies designed to support small business owners to increase their independence, influence, impact and income. She has committed every Thursday to serving emerging and growth stage Founders through a live broadcast, Founders Conversation and free one on one breakthrough sessions.


She is a leading authority on entrepreneurship with over 25 years’ experience, and exposure working with small businesses, across sectors (Trade, retail, beauty, tours and travel) and across geographies (Japan, USA, UK, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda). Frida studied organizational leadership and management at the Regent University in Virginia, small business management by Small Business Authority in Atlanta, Georgia, Entrepreneurship launch and grow in Babson University, Boston and is an alumni of 10k Women in Business by Goldman Sachs, USIU-Africa. She continues to acquire professional development training to sharpen her entrepreneurship skills to support others.


She is an International Speaker and a business breakthrough partner who is dedicated to supporting small & growing business owners to produce more profit and impact.

She serves on the executive board of Organization of Women in International Frida@passionprofitbrands.com | +254715356571 Trade(OWIT), as the Vice President, Chapter Development where her role is to champion new chapters around the globe. She has championed, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, Brazil and Mexico. She is also the immediate past president of OWIT Nairobi, where she championed the implementation of the governance structure, developed a leadership pipeline and designed systems and structure for consistent programming.

She has been interviewed on matters entrepreneurship on all the major media print and TV in Kenya and CNBC. She has won the Fearless Summit Award by Mavuno for societal impact because of her passion for helping people turn their passion into profit.

Frida believes that one is not a product of their condition and circumstances but of their psychology and the decisions they make based on the vision they want to achieve.
